Aluminum Railing Gates & Hardware

All Dek Rail exterior aluminum railing gates are custom made to match the design style you selected. Gates are shipped as fully assembled units.

This gate matches the Dek Rail RD11 frame style which features a 4 inch open air space under the top rail with slim style picket balusters for the in-fill panel.

Our picket gates typically feature 2 x 2 inch side posts. Just like all Dek Rail railing frame styles the gates also feature no exposed or visible fasteners.

This gate matches the Dek Rail RD5 frame style which is full height slim style picket balusters for the in-fill panel.

This sample shows our latest updated version which now has a swing flat bar stop plate added to assist closure without over stress to the gate latch hardware selected.

This particular gate also has an added tubular pipe just below the top rail which is where the key lockable magnetic side pull style latch will be located. The side pull latch assembly is standard hardware – see below.

This gate sample matches our RD4 frame style which features a 4 inch open air space over a stainless steel wire woven mesh lower in-fill panel.

Typical gate sizes for most installations are in the range of 36 – 50 inches. However since these are all custom made we can fabricate your gate in virtually any width & height required.

Since you have complete control over placement of the hinges & latch assembly each gate can be set up as a left or right hand operation which will optimize the most suitable swing direction to match the layout.

This gate matches our RD2 frame style which features a clear tempered safety glass panel over horizontal aluminum slats.

Once on-site Dek Rail gates are installed in a matter of minutes. There are no special tools required. All screw hardware for mounting your new gate is included.

Just like your Dek Rail main frame components all gate styles are made from extruded aluminum with a powder coat baked enamel finish to provide many years of worry free service.

Dek Rail gate hinges come in two models. Our standard version as shown can handle gate weights up to 66 lbs. A slightly larger heavy duty version is also available for larger over weight gates when required.

Each hinge features a fully tension adjustable hidden spring for easy control of the gates self closing force.

Exterior housing is made from a super tough UV stabilized black polymer material with interior components made from stainless steel. These self lubricating these hinges will never rust bind sag or stain.

Dek Rail latch assemblies also come in two different models. This version is called a key lockable magnetic side pull and comes as standard hardware on all gates.

Just like the hinges both latch assemblies are also made from the exact same tough UV stabilized black polymer materials with stainless steel interior components.

This side pull latch is super easy to install & very clean & neat looking. All screw fasteners are hidden from view once installed via matching black polymer cover caps. Both latch sides have built-in adjustment left to right or vertically so you can align your hardware perfectly.

When required or desired we also offer another gate latch option that has more features over the standard latch assembly. This latch is key lockable from both sides & you can also open your gate from both sides.

Just like the side pull version this upgrade latch assembly is fully adjustable vertically or horizontally.

All Dek Rail gate hardware comes with easy to follow installation instructions. Specifically designed for use with aluminum framed gates you can be assured they will fit & operate flawlessly.

For large or wide openings a double gate set design will be used to keep the individual gate sizes at a reasonable width & weight.

In this scenario one gate side will have what is called a drop down floor pin assembly as shown. Just like all our other hardware this pin assembly is easy to install & is made from the same tough black polymer & stainless steel materials.

This particular drop pin assembly also has a design feature that allows you to install a traditional style pad lock for added safety & security.

Aluminum gates on lower end generic frames typically come with an aluminum flat bar latch that is hard on your fingers to operate. Due to this poor design it also has the potential to pinch your fingers during opening or closing.

These latch styles do not come with any lockable feature so they will not provide any level of safety or security.

The hinges are simple & unsightly welded dowel pins that will wear loose causing the gate to sag over time. The metal to metal contact causes squeaks & quickly wears off the powder coat finish. These are simply NOT your best options for quality reliable gate hardware.

Here is another example of what we consider to be poor quality exterior deck railing frame gate hardware. These photos were taken from a generic gate install that is less than one year old.

The exposed fasteners have peeling paint & parts of the low grade plain steel latch are starting to already exhibit bare spots & rust. Since there is no built-in adjustment the close pin was bent downward to engage the latch.

Hinges are simple plain steel door style. The whole assembly looks very unprofessional from day one & worse will not weather well shortly down the road.

Dek Rail gate & latch hardware not only functions perfectly it also looks completely appropriate for the intended application.

Color matched snap on cap covers hide all screw connections. Since the exposed steel is stainless there will not be any issues with rusting components.

The best feature is that both the latch assembly & the hinges are adjustable at any time so smooth & reliable function is guaranteed. There is simply no better exterior aluminum frame gate hardware on the market.
