Step 9:
Insert the brown, tap-in connectors onto each main feed wire. The LED unit will have either two black wires a set of red and black wires. The stamped lettering side or red wire is always your POSITIVE and the side with no lettering is your NEGATIVE. Insert the positive wire on the LED unit into the positive tap-in connector hole on the main feed wire. Make sure the LED wire is past the tap-in connector blade. With the wire now inside the tap-in housing, use pliers and crimp down on the tap-in connector blade until the blade is seated flush with the housing. Perform exactly the same procedure for the negative LED wire. |

This is a close up shot showing the finished positive and negative wire connections for one LED unit. Always install the tap-in connector units approx. one inch from each other so they can be placed as low as possible to the anchor rail. Once this is done, use a pair of pliers and snap lock the tap-in cover plate / lid over the connections. |

Step 10:
Using the supplied black zip straps, bundle the LED unit wires snug tight to the main feed line. Four zip ties are supplied for each LED unit. The goal is to keep all wire slack to a minimum and ensure the wires are kept within the main feed line area on the anchor rail. Do not allow any wires to rest on the raised center portion of the anchor rail or outside the anchor rails edges. During this step, it is important to check under the anchor rail and ensure the LED unit tri-lights remain as centered as possible within the drilled holes. Only finish tightening the zip straps when the LED unit is positioned properly. |
| Step 11: Apply a healthy dap of silicone to each end of the LED units retainer clip making sure some is also in contact with the anchor rail. When the silicone sets up, it will prevent the LED unit from ever moving out of position over time. | |
