Step 5: Start your main feed line up through one of your end posts and into the anchor rail. Typically, this is an end post closest to an outdoor wall plug. Since the led units will be installed along the deck side of the railings, make sure to start the main feed wire along this same side of the anchor rail. |

Step 6:
Apply a dab of silicone to the two top side end caps on the led unit and seat into the black LED / wire retainer clip. When the silicone sets, it will ensure the LED unit will not slide out of the clip during wiring. With the LED unit now inserted into the retainer clip, place the LED unit onto the anchor rail and snap it in place. Snap the edge on the retainer clip closest to the anchor rails center. Then push down the opposite edge to lock the unit in place. |

Step 7:
Place the main feed wire along the anchor rail running it over the top of the LED units. To hold the main feed wire in place, use the same black LED / wire retainer clips, spaced approx. every 12 - 24 inches. Looking at the main feed wire, you will notice that one side has stamped lettering and the other side does not. Place the wire so that the stamped side lettering is facing upwards. The stamped wire will be your POSITIVE and the side with no lettering will be your NEGATIVE for the entire installation. Minimize any slack in the main feed wire. |

Step 8: Using a razor knife, carefully slice the main feed wire jacket down the center to separate the two sides. This should be done for approx. 6 inches. When done correctly, the wires will still remain protected within their respective jackets and will not be exposed. |
