| SDek Rail - Built-in LED lighting installation Page 1 |
 |
Step 1:
To install 3 led lights for each panel of glass or pickets, measure the panels width from post to post and divide by 2. This will be your
center light location. Then measure from each post to the center light and divide by 2 again. These will be your other light locations. If your span is
only using 2 lights, divide the full span by 3. As an example, a 48 inch post to post span means your light locations will be at
16 inches from each post - with 16 inches between the two lights. Using a 1/4 inch
drill bit, drill out your light holes along the outside line groove in the anchor rail. The outside line groove is the one closest to the deck. |

Step 2:
Use a circular file and take care to remove any metal burs that may be present on the underside of the anchor rail from drilling. The leds flange
wants to rest tight and flat against the underside of the anchor rail so it's important that each hole is free of burs. You may also use a Dremel tool
for this procedure if available. |

Step 3:
Remove and discard the rubber grommet from the led shaft. This part is not needed to install the lights within the frame. |
